How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Working my way through college, I saw the need for bicycles around campus. With a passion for cycling, it only made sense to address the demand and dive into the market. I started my first small business Trent Bicycles. I love the environment and networking with customers to find solutions for them. The challenge pushed me to learn new parts of business and technical ability. Since then, I have expanded to include contract work for custom projects and retail sales for a few products. Looking to the future, I plan on finding a store front/shop area to become more established.
What has been the best part of your experience?
Through the time commitment and challenges along the way, the best part has been the customers. Anyone that enjoys riding their bike appreciates it running well every time they start to pedal. That’s where I step in, to be your personal bike mechanic.
